Have questions?
We have answers.
What exactly is CreatorMarkt?
A two-sided marketplace for short-form UGC campaigns. Brands write a brief, fund the budget in NGN escrow, and pick from creators who apply. The creator posts on their own Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X account, the platform pulls the public metrics, and once the brand signs off the payout fires to the creator's bank.
Do I need a minimum follower count to join as a creator?
No. CreatorMarkt is built for the long tail of African creators — micro and nano accounts welcome. Brands here care more about how your content actually performs than your follower number, and a tight 5k-follower account that converts will out-earn a sleepy 200k one every time.
What does it cost to run a campaign as a brand?
The platform charges a tiered fee on top of the campaign budget you set — 10% for briefs under ₦500,000 and 7% for briefs at or above ₦500,000. No monthly subscription, no per-seat pricing, no surprise add-ons. You see the full quote, including fees and the escrow total, before you ever click pay.
Which platforms do you track?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X. Once a creator submits the post link, the platform scrapes public engagement (views, likes, comments, shares where available) on a recurring schedule, so you get a live performance view per campaign without anyone connecting a business account or installing a pixel.
How does escrow actually protect both sides?
When a brand accepts an application, the full budget is charged to Paystack and locked in escrow before any work starts — so creators never deliver for a brand that can't pay. Funds only release once the brand approves the content, and if there's a dispute the platform reviews the brief, the deliverable and the metrics before any money moves either way.
What happens if a creator misses the deadline or a brand rejects the work?
Missed deadlines automatically flag the application for cancellation, and the brand's escrow refunds in full. If a brand rejects content the creator has the chance to revise based on written feedback. Unresolved cases go to platform review — the bar for refunding the brand is clear: the deliverable has to fall outside what the brief actually asked for.
When and how do creators get paid?
The moment a brand approves a deliverable, the payout fires through Paystack to the bank account on the creator's profile — usually settled within 24 hours. No invoices, no chasing, no 30-day net terms. Creators keep 100% of the agreed rate; the platform fee is paid by the brand.
Can I run one campaign across multiple platforms?
Yes. A single brief can target any combination of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X — you set the deliverables per platform and the platform handles the matching. Performance for all of them rolls up into the same campaign dashboard.
Is there a minimum campaign budget?
There's no hard floor, but campaigns under ~₦25,000 per creator tend to struggle to attract strong applicants — that's roughly the going rate for a single short-form video deliverable from a vetted creator. The brief composer shows live rate-card data so you can set a budget that will actually land applications.
Do brands see my real numbers as a creator?
Only what's already public on your posts — views, likes, comments. CreatorMarkt does not ask for, store or share private analytics from your social accounts, and you never have to hand over passwords or business-account access. Your profile shows aggregated performance from past campaigns so brands can judge fit at a glance.
